Today was my mom's birthday, so last night I stayed up and made a card. I also stayed up studying chemistry and playing Minecraft. Heavy emphasis on the Minecraft, Janell and I played until like, 4 AM. And then after that I ended up not sleeping. I was just on my phone until morning. At 6:30 I started watching a movie on YouTube called Watership Down because I saw people talk about it on a Reddit thread. I didn't end up finishing it, but it was pretty interesting. Poor bunnies. But yeah I eventually got up and I got ready because I was gonna go with my mom and sister to town for some stuff.
Janell had to drop her car off at the GMC/Buick place for an oil change at 10:00 so that's where we went first. That actually took forever, it was 11:50 by the time we left. We were in a full waiting room when we got there so I had to sit at this separate desk while Janell and my mom sat together, so I was a little loner. But I was fine with that, I wrote some blog posts and added pictures. Eventually it cleared out a bit so I got some snacks they had on the counter and moved next to them. I fully took advantage of their snacks, I had a Coke, an Oreo pack, a bag of chocolate chip cookies, and some peanut butter crackers. My mom tried to get them to put heavier oil in Janell's car because that's what my dad wanted, but I don't think they did that. They said Janell has to come back every 1000 miles so that they can check her oil. Seems a bit excessive. So that was all that happened there.
After that we went to Culver's and ate in there. I just got a chicken tender kids meal. I was kinda paranoid in there, I kept thinking I would see someone I know in there, like a Teke. But the only person I saw that I knew was Matthew Theiss. Kinda crazy he still works there. But that was a good lunch.
Then we went to Menards, Kohls, and Schnuck's. I don't think too much happened at any of those places. I saw the other Bronson at Schnuck's again but didn't say hi to him this time. In Menard's I walked around on my own most of the time. I was trying to find a knife like the one that June brought to Christmas bingo, the one that Kyle stole from me. We were at Kohls forever because all their Christmas stuff was like, 75 percent off and Janell and my mom were going crazy for some of those deals, mainly looking at candles and scent things. But I kinda like being in Kohls with them because it's pretty nostalgic. Oh yeah, Anna Mueller and her boyfriend were also in Kohls, but luckily they didn't see us. So that was a little throwback.
Then we picked up Imo's pizza for supper, went to Scooter's so my mom could get her free birthday coffee and then we went home. We ate some pizza and then sang happy birthday to my mom. My grandma had also brought a sunshine cake the day before, so we ate some of that, too.
After we ate Janell and I played Minecraft for a bit more and then we went downstairs and watched this movie called The Forge with my mom and dad. It was a Christian movie about a kid shaping his future and being mentored and stuff. It was pretty good but it definitely could've been better, too. But my mom and dad really liked it. Maybe too much. The boy in the movie was really into playing video games and they acted like that was one of his biggest sins in the movie and part of his redemption was throwing them all away, so hopefully my parents don't get too inspired. But I'm not that addicted, sooo. But yeah it was a pretty good movie. The ending could've been better, too. It all led up to them having to fulfill an order to a client so that they didn't lose them. Like, that's the best ending you can think of? It was like a 6/10 movie. Janell slept through it.
And that was basically the day. I went to sleep shortly after that I'm pretty sure. So I hope my mom had a good birthday. It was a pretty good day for me, at least it was a packed day. Probably a 7/10.
