Today I woke up at 8 AM, which was really surprising because I went to bed at like, 4:30. I also woke up at probably around 5 or 6 because the power came back on and my lamp and LED lights came on and that woke me up. So I woke up, I was the first one up, and my dad was still at my grandma’s, so I firstly ate some leftover tourtière, then I played piano, and while I was doing that my mom came downstairs and I heard her end a recording, so I think she was recording me play the piano. But maybe that’s good, if I’m good enough to record. Then I bundled up and went out to turn on the chicken’s heat and fill up their water. I also filled the wood stove up. Then I walked around outside a bit with the dogs and I let Orange Man into the building and fed him because he was out all night, poor guy. Then I went back up to the house and kinda just chilled, I guess. Later that evening my dad got home and we ate the supper that Janell made, a Korean beef, boiled egg, and spinach meal. It was pretty great. Also I helped my dad change his car battery and clear the ashes out of the wood stove before we ate.

Then after all that my dad left again to spend the night at my grandma’s again, and my mom, Janell, and I played two games of Sorry. I won the first and Janell won the second, so poor mom. But it was really fun. Then I tried signing up for a HESI date but they weren’t available yet I guess. Then Janell and I played Minecraft FOREVER. We made this really cool new world called “beef and cheese” (Janell made green name) and we played until 3 AM. Really fun. I ate even more leftover tourtière during that time. Today was a good day.
