I feel like today was a very unproductive day. I set alarms to get up around 9 or 10 but I guess I slept through them because I woke up after 12. I hate waking up that late because it feels like I wasted half the day doing nothing.
For some reason Papa came to our house so I talked to him. Then after he left, Jennifer showed up for some reason as well, so I talked to her. My mom was bragging about my costume that one.
After they left I played some Red Dead Redemption 2 and didn't do much else interesting until around 5 o'clock.
For supper we had turkey, stuffing, corn, and gravy. It felt like an early Thanksgiving. I literally love stuffing. At supper we got stuck talking about guns somehow and my dad and I decided we were going to go kill some of the armadillos that are up in the fields across from our house. There have been a lot of them over there for some reason.
So we took three 22. rifles and took the Mule up there. We found one almost instantly and we both shot at it but I gave the finishing blow. Next we went up into the woods and looked around. Apparently John Jordan had put up a deer stand my dad wanted to see. While we were in the woods we were looking for squirrels to shoot. As we were leaving we saw one and both shot at it. One of us hit it (probably my dad) and we put it in the back of the Mule. When we came out of the woods and into the field, there was another armadillo that we snuck up on and my dad killed. Then we went back to the house.
I'd say that was a pretty successful trip. My dad and I decided to skin the squirrel, but we found out it had a weird tumor and I think there was puss coming out of it so he threw it in the wood stove.
After my shower I started watching The Birdcage because I'd heard it was a funny movie, but it was really boring so I switched to The Office because I hadn't watched it in a while. Then I spent the next 4 hours doing nothing but trying to fall asleep. It was probably after 3 when I fell asleep.
Today was alright towards the end of the day. 6/10.
