The first place we went was McDonald's because I didn't eat anything. My mom had a free thing for 6 piece nuggets for her birthday yesterday and she let me use that since she didn't want anything. I also got a coke. So that was good.
After that we went to Dr. Gibbons office because my mom's contacts had come in. I stayed in the car for that though. My mom said someone in there guessed that she was Joan and the lady said she should buy a lottery ticket for guessing right. Don't know why I included that, just a little detail I remember.
After that we went to First State Community Bank to close my account because I never use that account. I had 150 dollars in it that I got out in cash so that's good. I think all of my money in that account is because they give you a couple of dollars for every A you get on your report card.
Then after that we drove to SEMO and my mom showed me where the bus used to drop her off at Scully. We went here because I was going to see where my classes were going to be. My mom just dropped me off, though, because she had to go pick up prescriptions or something. But yeah my Scully class was nutrition and it was actually on the highest level (4th floor). All of my other classes were also on that side besides Grauel, but I didn't go to Grauel because I already know that building pretty well. But yeah I have like four classes in Magill and one in Rhodes. Then I walked to Academic and my mom picked me up on Normal Street. I also had to point an Indian guy in the direction of Dempster because he asked me for help.
After that we went to Last Mile Liquidators because my mom's been wanting to go there for some reason. I actually think she said she wanted to go there to look for shelves for my closet at Nana's. It was kinda nice in there. It's at that new building on Williams Street. They have a bunch of overstock furniture that's still boxed and is marked down by 20-30 percent. Maris apparently works in there and I said bye to her when we were leaving. Also they have a doodle or poodle or something that was just walking around the store. But yeah in the store I actually found a TV stand that I really liked and ended up getting. It's definitely an upgrade from the one I have at Nana's right now. Some scrawny kid picked up the box that the TV stand was in and made it look like nothing. My mom was really impressed but I just figured it wasn't that heavy. Then when we got to Nana's and I tried picking it up, it was actually really heavy. I underestimated that kid.
But yeah we didn't go to Nana's right after, we actually went to Buffalo Wild Wings. I got a cheese curd burger and my mom got a normal cheeseburger. It was reallly good but really filling. They were also playing the Blues game so I got to see them lose to the Panthers. But yeah that's about the end of that. Always fun.
Writing about this day makes it feel like forever, it just keeps going. After BWW we went looking at car lots for either Janell or my mom. We went to Morlan first and my mom was looking at a blue Ford Escape that she thinks Janell might want. I don't know why my mom wants to get Janell another car instead of herself. Janell's car is the car the keeps breaking down, but she picked out her shitty car and knew that Mini Coopers were unreliable. She can't just expect to get a new 30,000 dollar car when hers breaks down. So I think she should get my mom's Equinox and my mom should get a new car. The Equinox is probably more than Janell deserves anyways. But I guess my mom's a better man than me. But yeah my mom even had a dealership guy come out and unlock the car. The car was over 25,000 dollars so it was out of the price range. Also the dealership guy told my mom she should get a car instead of Janell because of the prices right now. I didn't really understand his logic and how it mattered (actually I guess he meant we keep the Equinox and give it to Janell [actually wait I still don't understand]).
Whatever, after that we went to another dealership (Coad Chevrolet) and looked at car that I actually thought looked nice. It was a light green Chevy Trailblazer, which you wouldn't think would be that cool, but it was. AWD, dual exhaust, blacked-out logos, tinted windows, carbon accents. A dealer guy, Landon, came out and unlocked it. This one was over 32,000 dollars so I that's still pretty pricey. But it was nice. Also my mom got locked in the backseat because it had a child safety lock.
After that we drove to some other lots but nothing caught our eyes. Then we went through the car wash because my mom had a coupon and then we went to Nana's to unload the TV stand. Then we went home. Then I went inside and ate. We had breakfast for supper, so pork sausage patties and a fried egg. Janell also got home just in time for supper. For the rest of the evening I didn't do much. Talked with the family and discussed bringing Chowder to the vet. My mom said she'll also go with me to make sure everything gets done. I could do it myself, but I feel better that she's going along. Also hopefully she'll pay the vet bill instead of me. If she does, I'll eventually repay her. Really hoping she does.
But yeah then I played some Fortnite and wrote this thing. I also cleaned my entire room. It desperately needed it. It's almost 2 AM and I feel like I've been writing forever, so I put it in a Word document and this passage alone is basically the equivalent of a FOUR PAGE ESSAY. That's longer than all the essays I wrote in EN100. No wonder it feels like I always spend so much time writing.
But yeah I gotta go to bed. Today was like a 7/10 just cause it felt like I did so much.
