Environmental Biology was boring again. Still talking about chemistry and electrons and stuff. I sat one seat to the right of where I normally sit. Got a bit of a different perspective today.
English Composition was kinda fun. For some reason, when Mr. Allen (it feels weird calling him Zach even though he said not to address him as Mr. Allen) called on me for an example sentence for livid, I said homework makes me livid. Don't know where that came from. We had to work with partners to make example thesis statements. He had a box where we picked topics from. My two topics were "conversion therapy for gays" and "topless women rights." Very interesting. I guess they were supposed to be controversial. My partner was the same one who I peer reviewed with. I still don't know her name. We picked the one about topless women. We didn't really know what we were doing, because we were supposed to use specific transition words and a specific type of thesis, like informative, argumentative, stuff like that. But we ran out of time so it didn't matter.
Archaeology class was just notes, but it's always kinda fun. Also I saw Lara, the German girl who went to Saxony, and waved to her beforehand. Anyways, the intro question today was what our favorite animal was and I said whales. Yeah then it was just notes. At least this class always feels like it goes by fast. The first two felt SO slow today.
Afterwards I walked to the library to work on stuff, but I saw Jackson Haertling sitting in there so I did a 180 and decided to go outside of Scully. I was debating that anyways because it's good weather. I got behind a tour group and felt like I was in high school again, even though I never went on a college tour. For some reason there were horses in Parker Field (i think that's what it's called). Cheyenne Higgs was also with the horses but I don't think she saw me. Wonder if she still has Gunner. So I got to Scully and got to watch the horses while I finished yesterday's blog. That's really all I worked on. I don't feel like doing homework.
In my philosophy class, I tried counting how many times he said "sort of" again, but I got a little sleepy towards the end of the class, so this data probably isn't as good. He did have a record breaking moment, though. 117 sort ofs in 10 minutes. 11.7 sort ofs per minute. That was accurate, too, because that was only twenty minutes into the class. Pretty crazy. He talked about Cephalus's view of justice today.
After that I did the calculations for like, 5 minutes and left. I didn't want to go to the gym today, but I did anyways. I told myself I'm at least going every MWF. I actually had a pretty good workout. I felt like I could go longer than 10 minutes on the stairclimber today. But I didn't, I did my 60 floors and was out of there. Then I got a beefy melt burrito with no sour cream from Taco Bell. It was delicious. The worker was kinda cute, too. I also had to pay with change because I only had 20s.
Anywayssss, I went home, ate some of my mom beef and broccoli, played some geetar, and fell asleep and woke up at like, 9:00. I went downstairs and watched YouTube or something. I've been watching hockey clips recently. Getting ready for the next season. Hopefully NHL66.ir will work this year, since last year it didn't. I procrastinated my English Literature homework for as long as I could but eventually did it. Got my two questions turned in for Gawain and did the quiz. Luckily there was a quizlet I found that had the answers. 15/16. Not too bad.
That was it. 5/10 day. Average.
