11/17/25

Today I had two exams in my fundamental and assessment lectures. So I got up at around 6:45 am and studied my fundamental stuff until I had to leave at 8:30.

hair was a little crazy this morning

My first exam, I did not do good on. I thought it wouldn't be too bad, it was over stuff like communication, teaching, and death, and I went over all of that yesterday and today. But the questions were just so hard for me, and I got a 67%. I'm really hoping they'll go through and give us some points back because that's actually failing. My exam average now for this class is a 76%, so I need at least that on the final now. Dammit. I mainly feel bad for my mom because she was just thinking how I was doing better and taking things more serious with my pharm exam grade, and now this. After the exam Mrs. Hall talked some about clinicals and then a guy came in who was offering a NA job at his place, and then we were out of class. CJ was asking what I got on the exam and I was like, "Not the best but not the worst," but I think I literally was the worst.

After class I went to the library for a bit to study for my next exam, but I couldn't study very well there. My allergies were just really bad, my nose was running like crazy. I saw the other Bronson and talked to him for a second, so that was interesting. Then I left and went to my car to study. Janell didn't want to buy me lunch, so I was fasting this morning. In my car, I studied for a while and then ended up falling asleep for about 20 minutes and that scared me because I thought I slept through the exam. It was perfect sleeping condition though, the sun was shining on me, I was tired, I wish I could have kept sleeping. Then I actually went to Grauel, the English building, to study for another half hour. They had cookies in there so I also had a chocolate cookie.

I walked into this exam and the room was absolutely packed. That was because there was another class in here taking their HESI thing. So there were two cohorts in this room and I came in after everyone else already found a seat. So I was just wandering around for a bit looking for a place to sit. I ended up having to sit next to Carleigh (I think that's her name). There were also some internet issues, I don't know if it's because there were so many people on it at once, or what, but I could not even get on Canvas. Eventually I decided to be smart and connect to a random guest Wi-Fi instead of SEMO's and I got through and started the exam. Once I saw the questions on this exam, I was pretty confident because I actually recognized the stuff from studying. So I went through it pretty fast and ended up getting a 92%. So I was happy with that. We could leave right after we finished for this one, and people were really talking about how hard this exam was. Like, I don't know how they could think this exam was hard and the first one was easy, I have no idea.

After that, I went to Nana's and played Fortnite for a little break. I really didn't do anything else the rest of the day, I never left Nana's. My mom came by and brought me a free small fry that I ordered and she picked up, as well as a full thing of delicious Sam's Club sushi and a giant loaf of Cuban bread. So thank you mom. I also did some work around Nana's. I cleaned off the side porch and sweep it off, so that's something. Then I went in and took a nap for a couple of hours. When I woke up, I ate some more, watched YouTube, and played quite a bit of Metro Last Light. It's been almost a year since I started it, so I kind of want to finish it. I love Metro. I also made some pancakes because I was really craving them.

That was basically my day. Failed an exam, that was awful. Did well on an exam, that's good. Then a lazy rest of the day. 3.5/10.

11/16/25

Today I did not do much, so I'll write this super fast. I got up and went to church with my parents even though I only got a few hours of sleep last night. Church was alright, nothing too crazy.

After church I went home and was home for the rest of the day. I had a ton of assignments due, so I started on those. My mom had made roast, so that was a good meal. I got a couple of dosage calc assignments done, did a musculoskeletal assignment, then took a break to build some of the hotel Lego set. I also played some Deadshot. Then I did some more assignments. I had a kind of big patho thing that I got done and did the references for our pharm TikTok assignment. I also skipped chapter and didn't respond to Grant when he asked why I missed it.

For dinner, my mom made this wild rice soup, and that was really good. Then I realized I have two exams tomorrow, so I studied for those and my mom helped some. That was basically my day.

2/10, super boring day.

11/12/25

Today was my head-to-toe check-off day, so I set alarms to wake up early and practice, but I didn't really get up early. My time to be there was 11:30, and I don't think I left until the very latest that I could. I didn't even practice that morning.

I got changed into my SEMO nurse clothes and left Nana's to go to Crisp Hall. I felt pretty confident about it at first, but when I actually got there, I was kind of nervous. I'd be doing my assessment on CJ and Mrs. Burk would be grading us. So I went up to Crisp and CJ was already there and that Stephanie student teacher girl was there, and they were both outside of the assessment lab. CJ flipped a coin for who should go first, I called tails, and it was tails. So I had to go first. I feel like I would've done better going second, but whatever. Eventually Mrs. Burk came out to get us and we went in.

I started my assessment on him and I felt kind of confident again. I washed my hands, confirmed the identity, did all the essential things that will fail you if you forget them, and went on. I went through the head and face, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, neck, back, chest, heart, arms, abdomen, legs, and then finished. Afterwards, she showed me my score, and it was an 85/100. I honestly thought I would've done better, but then CJ started doing his and I realized I did forget some stuff. I forgot to test the sensitivities of the arms and legs, I didn't ask about bowel movements, just some stuff like that. I don't know what CJ got, but his felt a little fuller than mine. CJ was saying some funny things, he really liked the word 'such'. He'd say things like, "We'll check with the bell to listen for murmurs and such." I don't know, it was kind of funny to me. But we both passed, so it doesn't really matter what I got. They also had brownies afterward that we could eat.

Afterwards, I went to McDonald's and got a small fry, and then went back to Nana's. I just played Fortnite some here, watched the new Slushy Noobz nursing home Roblox video (great video), and then my mom got there. She was dropping some stuff off, like that glass table and some blankets that she'd washed. We also cleaned the bathroom out. So she was there for 45 minutes or so. Once she left, I made some mac and cheese, played Fortnite, and then started Deathly Hallows: Part II, the last movie in my two week long Harry Potter marathon. It was kind of sad, I really liked watching these movies for the first time. And this movie was pretty good. Half-way through, my dad showed up and he'd been on the phone with me earlier and was getting me stuff from McDonald's. I only ordered a Dr. Pepper for free from the app, but he'd gotten an extra McFlurry for free somehow, so I got that, too. He came in and showed me some stuff downstairs, like the heater, and then we tried putting my car windshield sprayer on, because he got another one to see if it'd work. And it didn't really, it was spraying too low. So he's going to return that again, and I ordered a pack off of Amazon. Then he gave me a McDonald's apple pie and he left, and I went to finished my movie. It was a good movie, I wish it established after the battle a bit before jumping to 19 years later. Like, they really didn't do anything about Fred's, Remus's or Tonk's death. After the movie, I got a shower, and then finally started studying for my pharmacology exam tomorrow. Yes, I have that tomorrow, and I just started studying at about 11 pm. But I did some hardcore studying for about two hours and then went to bed at 1 am.

So today was kind of boring, but I passed the check-off, watched Slushy Noobz and Harry Potter, and played Fortnite. So 4/10.

11/11/25

Today I did not do much. I didn't have patho class for some reason, maybe Veteran's Day, I don't know. So I stayed at home. I really can't even remember what I did. I know I was out with the animals some. But my mom got home at around 3 pm, and I practiced my head-to-toe assessment that I'd have to do tomorrow on her. She also brought me an Arby's Reuben, so that was yummy.

I had work still, so I went to that at 6 pm, and it was alright. It went by fast enough, I had nine transports total. My first one was from dialysis to IRF, which I had never been to, so I asked the people at dialysis, and it's inpatient rehabilitation on the fourth floor, so I got that done. I had another weird request later on that said MRI to neuro, so I went down to the second floor MRI and no one was there, so I went to the basement MRI on the B elevator to look there. I had just been there for the first time earlier in my shift because Tyler said they were using that MRI machine. Some janitor guy asked what I was doing and I said I had a request from MRI, and he said there wasn't anyone down here. So I went back up to the second floor MRI and this lady found me and asked what I was doing. I said I had a request and we tried knocking on the door. After a minute or so, someone opened it and it was this Colombian guy who said he was repairing the system. So then we went to see if the request meant CT instead of MRI, so we went to the CT people (Stan and some girls) and they said no. So I called ER because the request was actually put in by them, and they said the patient I was looking for was there. So it was ER the whole time and they put in MRI instead of ER. Wow. But other than that, it was a quick shift. They also had little pastry things, so I took one of those from the breakroom.

I went to McDonald's afterwards and got a free four piece nugget, but they actually gave me six. So that was awesome. Maybe because I was nice to them, always be nice to service workers. Then I drove to Nana's and on my way, I saw the northern lights. My dad had sent me a picture earlier when I was at work, and I actually went outside at work to look, but I didn't see them. But on my way to Nana's, there they were. And they were very visible, the other time they were here, a year ago or so, you could really only see them through the camera with Apple's night mode. So that was really cool. I didn't do much at Nana's, I think I just watched YouTube and played Fortnite until going to bed.

So today was boring, I didn't do anything much until work. But the auroras were cool and my extra nuggets were good. 4/10.

11/7/25

I'm writing this several days after, so I may miss some details. But today was my retake of my two check-off skills, so I set alarms for 6 am, but I really didn't get up until 8 am or so. I was pretty confident on them, so I really didn't study or anything. I ate half of a pumpkin fry pie that my mom got me from her Amish trip yesterday for my breakfast. My time to be there today was 9:45, so I got up and got ready and left at around 9 am.

pumpkin fry pie, mmm

Once I got to Crisp, I read over my rubric for a couple of minutes, went to the bathroom, and then it was basically time. So I went up to the lab and did them. I did trach suctioning first I think, and I passed that. At least this time they told if you passed right after you did it. Both Mrs. Stinnett and Mrs. Hall were watching this time. And then I did trach care and I also passed that. The only criticism they had was that the cannula didn't fall all the way into the fake solution, part of it was sticking out. But I passed both of them, that's all that matters.

me after my check-offs. you could tell i was stressed because my
face is flushed and i was really hot afterwards

Apparently my sister was going to go see the cats again today, so I was planning on staying in town. I don't know if I talked about this yesterday, but Janell's been really wanting a cat for her house she's going to be moving into next semester, and she went to the Humane Society and found a cat named Joker that she likes (but she wants to name it Dory for some reason). So I kind of wanted to go to. So I did some stuff to waste time.

I first was going to go to HealthPoint, but their parking lot was basically full and I didn't want to work out when it was busy. So I went to Teen Challenge next and looked around for a bit. I ended up getting a book, Eyes of the Dragon, by Stephen King. I hadn't just bought a physical book to read in a while. I was reading 1984 earlier this semester and I want to finish that, but I was really craving a physical book.

So I went to the park and read several chapters of that in my car. It was an alright book. It was the first fantasy book King wrote I guess. The part I read was just describing the characters. There's a whole royal family and this evil wizard guy, Flagg. So I read that for maybe an hour.

Then I went to the UC to get food. I was going to get Janell to get me something but I think she was still at home studying or something. I snuck past the lady and used a ticket that Janell got me that they didn't take last time to get a beef burrito with queso and chips. So that was delicious. I saw Gavin in there but didn't say anything to him.

my burrito

After that I went to Walmart and all I got was a box of rice Hamburger Helper. Then I went down one of those county roads out past Walmart because I wanted to just drive around. I would say that we were about in the prime of fall right now, so all the trees and stuff were colorful. I drove for maybe 30 minutes, and it was really nice. I was going on some crazy gravel roads at one point. I ended up going to Gordonville and then to Jackson.

autumn trees

In Jackson I filled up with gas, but it stopped filling up when my car was at 3/4 tank for some reason. Then I went to Teen Challenge in Jackson, and they had some cool stuff, lots of shirts, but I didn't end up getting anything.

After that I drove back to Cape, got a small fry, and sat in the Banterra parking lot until Janell made her way over. Then we went to the Humane Society.

The Humane Society had moved to a new spot since the last time I'd been there, it was a bit of a bigger building. We went in and went to the cat room. There were a ton of cats in there, either lined up in cages on the wall or in separate rooms. She showed me the one she was interested in, I looked at some cute ones like one named Danny Devito. I got Rhea Perlman, Danny Devito's roommate, out, and she scrambled away from me and went under the cages. So Janell was freaking out, but we eventually got her out. I also liked this older cat that was really fluffy. There was a room called the Zen Room with a bunch of kittens in there, and they were anything but zen. They were crazy, but there was this one with a backwards tail that I really liked. So this was a fun trip here, I don't know how long we were here, maybe an hour.

danny devito

Afterwards I went with Janell to get Peace Love Energy, but I didn't get anything. Then she dropped me off and I went home.

At home I got some of my online quizzes for assessment done, which my mom made me study like crazy for beforehand. But I think I passed all of them, all of the questions were easily lookup-able. Then I scheduled an academic advising appointment for Monday because I realized I should have already had that scheduled a week or so ago. And then I watched the Family Fight episode of Always Sunny and then watched Order of the Phoenix. I've still been watching all the Harry Potter movies and enjoying them. And I think it was almost 3 am before I went to bed.

So that was my day, it was pretty good. Passed my check-offs, got to see cats, watched a movie, read a book. 6/10 day. Maybe 5.5/10.

11/6/25

Today was another pretty non-interesting day. I wanted to wake up early, but didn't end up getting up until around 1 pm. I guess it's because I was up until 3 am last night watching Harry Potter. But I woke up because Janell called me because she was going on about getting this one cat from the Humane Society and naming it Dory.

Janell also got home at around 1:30 because I guess she was going to study. So I talked to her some and we looked at Humane Society pets online. We also split a Trader Joe's microwave noodle thing, and then I left to go to my class at 3. I left a little early because I thought I might be able to practice my trach stuff in the lab beforehand, but I really didn't have time.

Class was alright, we were still going over cardiac drugs. On a break, Jayden said she saw me on the Tea app, so that's embarrassing. I probably should not have asked Olivia to post me on there. But then Kenzi noticed my braces were off and she said my teeth looked good, so that was nice. We were supposed to have a quiz at the end of class, but we all started leaving before Mrs. Malahy could remember that we were supposed to have one. So she gave us full credit for it, awesome.

We actually got out of class early, so I had time before work to go practice my check-offs. Jayden, Yeabsira, Noelle, Adriana, and Kylee were up there, so I watched them do their trach care. Then I practiced with Adriana some on our manikin. She also noticed I got my braces off and she told Noelle and that was a whole thing. But they said my teeth looked nice, so that's good to hear.

At 5:45 I left to go to work. Work was kind of busy again. Tyler was there until 6:30 pm, but apparently he'd been here by himself since 6 am. So that's kind of crazy. I had several ER ones, a CT scan from pavilion where the nurse had to come with me because she was on some crazy IV meds. My second one of the night was for interventional radiology, and I'd never been there, so I found the room but there was no one there. So I tried calling IR and no one answered. Then I found an ultrasound lady and had her help me, and apparently the IR lady had already taken the patient up. Like, okay. So after the first rush, I had like, two hours of nothing, and it was so boring. I started just exploring some. I went in one of the RQI rooms on the first floor for a bit and logged into my Workday on the computer in there just to waste time. I went in the one little conference room on the second floor for a bit, some random waiting room I'd never been in before, I was just wondering around. Then I got a request ten minutes before I was about to leave, so after all that, that's when I finally got a request. So I wasn't done with that until 10:50 or so. So I left immediately after that.

I went straight home after work and Janell was studying in the basement. She went upstairs soon because she was really stressed about her microbiology test tomorrow and said I was distracting her. I didn't do too much, I watched Always Sunny (the episode with Franquito) and then I went to bed.

So today was not awful. 5/10.

11/5/25

Today I woke up early at a little after 7 am, but I fell back asleep until around 11 am. So I got almost 12 hours of sleep last night. And somehow I was still kind of tired waking up. I was actually supposed to go to Spice a TKE at 11, but luckily Naethan cancelled it. So I got up and got ready for my assessment clinical at 1:00.

I left for that at 12:30 and the ladybugs outside were crazy today. There were just swarms of them everywhere. I opened my car and like, twenty of them came in with me. But anyways, I drove to class. Class was alright, strict army lady was still teaching. We were practicing our head-to-toe assessments because next week, we actually would have to perform them. She and Stephanie did an example first and then we had to practice with someone we hadn't yet, so I practiced with Teigan, which I already had before, but whatever. So that went alright, she's nice, but there is a lot of stuff to memorize for the head-to-toe.

That class got out a bit early at 3 pm, and as I was walking to the bottom of the hill, I saw Janell's car parked on Normal Street. So I called her and went over to her car. Turns out she was waiting to go up to Crisp to get her TB bloodwork done and get the flu shot. So I walked with her up there because she was scared she was going to faint in there. But once we got up there, the clinic told us they were only doing STD testing today and nothing else. So she'll do that tomorrow. Then I went with her to get her SEMO scrubs from the bookstore.

After that, we were going to meet up with my mom because I needed leather shoes for nursing clinicals and I guess Janell did, too. But first she went to Peace Love Energy (which I thought was Peace Love Nutrition until looking it up just now) to get this blue drink. She saw one of her tri deltas working in there.

Then we met mom at Brown's shoe store, which I hate, because the people who work in there get commission, so they bombard you and stick with you the whole time you're looking for shoes. But my mom loves it. So we looked at a couple of pairs that the guy picked out, and they weren't great. There was a pair of Hokas and a pair of New Balance, but they were both a little weird. So we had to tell the guy we may come back but we're gonna look elsewhere.

We rode to Nearly Perfect next with my mom, which is probably my favorite shoe store and where we should have gone to begin with. They're a lot cheaper, had more options, and you can look at shoes without someone looking over your shoulder. So I tried on some pairs there and ended up getting this white leather pair of Brooks that I liked. And they were about 100 dollars cheaper than Brown's.

After that, we went to drop Janell off back at her car because she had a headache. I wanted to eat together as a family (minus dad I guess) but yeah, she went back to her car. My mom said she would still pick me up Culver's though, so that's where we went. But then Janell pulled up next to us at a stoplight and I told her through the window we were going to Culver's and suddenly she wanted to go. So we all went to Culver's and my dream of eating together came true.

Town was really busy today so it took us a while to turn into Culver's from Kingshighway, like several minutes. But we got turned in and I ordered four chicken tenders with signature sauce. So that was delicious and exactly what I needed after only eating a beef stick all day. Janell and my mom split a burger and cheese curds. But that was some good food. There was a little girl behind our booth that kept saying some really crisp '67s' and Janell was obsessed with her.

My mom drove me to my car afterwards and I went home. Janell went to her dorm and then I think she was going to work at the church. At home I practiced my trach things on that stupid little giraffe again while my mom graded me with the rubric, and I think I did pretty good. She said I did too, but they are just so strict with every detail during check-offs, I don't know how good I'll do. I mean, I literally have to pass or I think I have to retake the class or something.

After that I talked to my parents some upstairs and then I went downstairs and ended up watching The Goblet of Fire. I've really been into these Harry Potter movies. I've never seen the movies before. And it was around 3 am before I went to bed, somehow.

So that was my day. I would give it a 5/10, it was fun hanging out with mom and sister.

11/4/25

Today I woke up fairly early, it was 7:40. I didn't get out of bed until 9 though. I got up and made some cheeseburger mac, which was Aldi brand, but was actually really good. Very creamy. I watched some old Slushy Noobz Fortnite videos and some of the Yakuza video on Patreon. Then I got dressed and left at noon to go over to Nana's to get my retainer that I left there yesterday.

I got there and got my retainer and played one round of Fortnite, and then I had to go to my class at 1 pm. When I was leaving, there were these utility trucks at the base of Franks Hill, so I waited, but Jimmy pulled up and said to just take the road next to Franks Hill, so I did, and I was on my way. Don't know why I didn't do that earlier.

Class was boring like this class always is. We went over cardiac stuff today, had our quiz, and luckily we didn't go over the group quiz because we ran out of time. After class I went up to practice my trach stuff. There were some other people up there but they were all people who were retaking it tomorrow because they're in the Wednesday group. So I left after practicing both the trach ones, which took about 20 minutes.

Then I went and got a small fry from McDonald's and then went to the gym. There were kind of a lot of people I recognized at the gym. My old philosophy teacher, Mrs. Janzow, I think I saw Kennady's brother, both of Ian Roth's parents were walking laps in there, and I think that was it. But I got a decent workout in.

I went to work at 6 pm, right after I left the gym. Tyler was there with me until 7:30 and we were both busy with requests for the first hour or so I was there. I had one from ER to surgical that I accidentally took to room 501 instead of 513 because on Epic it showed a 01 and I thought that was the room number. Oops. I had two discharges from neuro which I'd never had at this time of night. For the second one, I guess they lock the main lobby doors, so I actually got locked out, which was scary. I ended up walking all the way around to the parking garage entrance with the empty wheelchair and that door wouldn't open either, but luckily someone was coming out the sliding door, so I squeezed through when they did that. There was a whole basket of candy in the break room and I ate more of that than I should've. There were some kind of complex patients to bring to CT scan. The first was a lady from cardiac pavilion, but the request said it was from CPC, so I went to the wrong place first. Then when I got to pavilion, the lady's oxygen was like, 89%, so she wanted someone from respiratory to come up, so we waited like, fifteen minutes for her, and then both the nurse and the respiratory lady (who looked like Meredith Grey) came with me there. So there was a lot of oxygen tubes and machinery. The second to CT was this guy from med tele who was hard of hearing and was sleeping when I went in there. And I could not get him awake. I tapped his arm some and he opened his eyes a bit but was still snoring, so I think he was still asleep. So that was just kinda confusing. And there were some more ER ones, and I ended up doing nine transports tonight, which is a new record for me.

After work I got another small fry and there was actually a dead bug in the fries that I almost ate on accident. Then I went home and ate the rest of my hamburger mac I made this morning and went to bed pretty early, before midnight I think.

So today was average but not awful, 4/10.

11/3/25

Today I didn't have any classes because fundamentals was cancelled for some reason and there's still no lecture classes for assessment. So I was still at Nana's and today was still a boring day. I don't remember when I woke up, it was earlier than yesterday probably. My mom came over at about 4 pm, after she got off of work, and she brought me Taco Bell, yum. She cleaned some more, we started taking things off the walls to paint later on. My dad also came over a little after she did. But then, they decided the floors weren't that good, so my dad called Buick and he's gonna come redo them. Just as I thought we were done.

I went home at around 8 pm and I got behind my dad on the way home. At home, I talked to my mom some, tried on my new Crocs that didn't really fit, so I guess we'll return those, watched some piano videos and fell asleep before 11 pm. But I was only asleep for about five minutes before my dad yelled down to say goodnight. So then I was back up for another two hours because I couldn't fall asleep. I played some piano and watched some Always Sunny and then I fell asleep.

So there was no class today but also nothing else going on. 3/10.

11/2/25

Today I woke up at 8 am, but fell asleep and didn't wake up until after 2 pm. I did not want to sleep that long. I was still at Nana's and I only woke up because my mom called me because she was coming over here to do some cleaning. So I got up and she got here a little later.

She brought me a Culver's kids meal and a large Coke from the gas station, so that was delicious. Today was honestly another day that I did nothing. I played Fortnite quite a bit, helped clean downstairs some, went over trach suctioning some, and then went to my chapter meeting at 4.

Before I went to that, Indian Nathan wanted me to buy him a white Monster, so I did, and he said he'd pay me back, but he didn't. But I guess that's okay, he's bought me lunch like 4 times. Chapter was boring. I got signed up to run for three different executive positions. I don't even think I'm going to be in TKE next semester, so I've got to cancel those somehow. That was really it.

After chapter I went to 333 to clean because Nyk pressured me into it. We had to wait for like, half an hour for other people to even show up. Then we cleaned, we started upstairs and then went downstairs and got all the cups and cans down there. There were a lot. Then I snuck out of there whenever I could.

I went back to Nana's and finished my homework. I also made some mac and cheese and watched Always Sunny. I also watched Prisoner of Azkaban later on. I'm trying to watch all of these Harry Potter movies, I haven't seen any of them until now. And that was my night.

Today was a 3/10, super boring. But nothing bad happened I guess.

11/1/25

It's now November and today was really boring. I stayed at home doing nothing almost all day. I did catch up on a lot of my homework, but I also goofed off a lot, watching YouTube and starting to build my Lego Hotel I bought a couple of weeks ago. I think my grandparents came over for a bit today, so I talked to them some. Janell also came over later and apparently she was with Gabby and another delta, but I didn't even see her because I stayed downstairs. But that was really it.

That evening I did go over to Nana's because I needed to do something today. Just to get out of the house some. I also took my TV from upstairs over there because it's a 4K TV. And I took a basket of clothes. Some people were going out tonight, but I still didn't feel like doing that, so I drank some at Nana's. By myself. Like a loser. But it was actually a really fun time. I played some Fortnite Delulu with the new Simpson's map and met some really cool people, and I played some Roblox later on, which was not as fun as Fortnite. So that was a fun night. But that was literally it today.

So the night was fun, the day was boring. 4/10 day I guess.

10/31/25

Today was Halloween, but more importantly, it was my check-off day. So I woke up to my alarm at 6 am in Jalyn's room. I'd gotten maybe an hour of sleep last night, but I got up, grabbed my jacket and puffer, said bye, and left that place. On my way out of Towers, after descending twelve flights of stairs, I saw a piano in the laundry/commons area, so I went in a played for a couple of minutes. It was kind of fun.

So I left there, walked all the way back to 333, which took a little bit, got in my car, and drove to Nana's. I really wanted to just go to sleep, but I had to go to my check-offs, they were in less than two hours. So I took a shower, got dressed in my scrubs, and left. I didn't even really review any this morning. I went to McDonald's and got a steak, egg, and cheese biscuit. That felt like a bit too much for this morning, but it's okay. I ate that in my car, and went up there at about 8 am.

I got to Crisp and reviewed my rubric and made sure I had all of my supplies out by that vending machine area. So I was doing that for 10-15 minutes, and then I went up to actually do them. They called Kaylen and I right in as soon as I got there, because Kaylen also had this time slot. She chose the trach ones first, so I did wound care and Foley first. I was so nervous and maybe still a little drunk. Just kidding, I know I wasn't drunk, just groggy. But I got through those two. On my catheter one, the water syringe exploded everywhere again. But Mrs. Stinnett just said to keep going, so I did. So I got both of those done and the only thing I know I did wrong was forget to wash my hands after taking off the clean gloves. Then Mrs. Stinnett and I started talking about Halloween movies, which was kind of fun. She's a really nice teacher. Then next I did the trach ones with Mrs. Hall, and those were a little harder. I thought that I still did alright though. So I finished up, grabbed a donut that CJ had brought on the way out, and went home.

I got home and slept from about 10 am to 2:30 pm. The grades were in by this time and I passed the wound care and Foley insertion, but I failed the trach ones. Dang it. So I'll have to make those up next week. I really don't know what I did wrong, I guess I wasn't careful enough while I was sterile. I am pretty sure I didn't do anything else for the rest of the day, I don't really remember. I definitely did not go out for Halloween, I was still too tired. I know I was out some with the dogs, played some Club Penguin that night and watched Chamber of Secrets.

So I'll just say that was my day. It was boring and stressful this morning. But that also wraps up October I guess. This month as a whole wasn't too significant. I'm trying to recall it a bit. I did blog most of it, so that's an accomplishment. But yeah, today was a 3/10.

10/30/25

Today I didn't want to get up, probably because I was up until 4 am last night, but I did get up eventually, at around noon. I didn't do too much before leaving for class, but my dad wanted to put my new windshield sprayer on since my other one broke, but we found out the one he bought was wrong because it needed a straight tube and this one had a 90 degree turn. So that didn't work out.

I went to lab before my class, I left at around 1 pm. I practiced some of my skills there for a bit. Breanna was there so I talked to her some.

Then I went to my class at 3, which was pharmacology. I don't think we did too much, we were learning about heart meds and beta blockers. At the end we had a quiz that everyone was kind of worried about, but it ended up being a Family Feud sort of thing, where she'd read the questions and then someone from your team would run up and ring the bell. I got on a pretty good team and I actually got to talk some, like to Paige and Kinleigh. So that was a fun quiz.

I left and got a small McDonald's fry for free and then went back to practice in the lab some more. The lab was pretty full this time around. I went over to CJ and watched him do some skills, and then I practiced while he watched me. I did not do well compared to him. He did all the steps perfect. I started with catheter and I messed up about fifteen times, my water syringe exploded all over the place twice, I couldn't get the lube open, it was a mess. I also practiced wound dressing and trach suction with him, so I think it was a pretty productive practice. He gave me lots of tips. And we got to know each other a bit better. We talked about sports some, he's a Bucks and Packers fan apparently.

I left lab eventually because everyone except me and the two foreign exchange girls had left. I went to the library after that and wrote down everything from the check-off rubric onto a notebook, along with other notes that I thought were helpful. I was at the library for an hour or so.

Then I left and went to Walmart, because there was our Halloween party tonight. I hadn't really planned at all for the party tonight. Before I left this morning, I'd grabbed my jean jacket, red puffer vest, and one of my dad's shirts so that I could be Marty from Back to the Future. I was him for one of the high school Halloween dances, but I had no other options for tonight. Anyways, I went to Walmart and bought a Four Loko and that was really all I planned on drinking tonight, because my check-offs were at 8:15 am tomorrow morning. After Walmart I went to HealthPoint to try and run inside the therapy section to go to the bathroom, but they were closed, or their doors at least wouldn't work, so I went to Kidd's and went there instead.

So after that I still had some time before the party, it was probably 8:30 pm or so, so I sat outside of the Baptist Student Center and read over my notes that I made at the library. I got pretty good at memorizing all of that, and I was there doing that for an hour and a half or so. Then a little before 10, I made my way to 333.

So this party wasn't too busy at first, but it never starts out busy. The only people really there were tekes, some Delta Chis (because this was a paired party with them), some Tri Deltas, like Keely and Hannah, and some TKE girlfriends, like Teddy. So I started kind of awkward because I didn't know who to talk to. I was kind of surprised that most people immediately knew who I was dressed as. I feel like I had one of the better costumes. Mason was Bob Ross, Romell was a lederhosen guy, Eddy was a pirate, Whitlow was Twister, I think Grant was a banana, there was a big variety. So I talked to them to start out. Then I ended up talking to Nyk for a long time, like 45 minutes or so. We just talked about our jobs and nursing and stuff. He wasn't even dressed as anything. Then I went downstairs for a bit, and it was a little weird. It was definitely busy down there, I just don't really dance, so I just stood around for a bit. I talked to Teddy some, watched Kevin and whoever play some cup pong, and then I had to go to my shift at 11 to work the bar. This was probably the busiest time for working the bar, there were so many people coming in. It really wasn't that bad, though, I got to talk to lots of people and everyone was like, "Marty!" I also took a couple of drinks from the coolers for myself. Some other guys joined me behind the bar to kind of help out, like Jafar, Matt was there for a bit, I think Mason was there. I was supposed to be opening the drinks before I served them, but my finger was killing me so I stopped doing that. But I was kind of getting into it, I was a good bartender. After that was over at midnight, I was free. I ran into Shaylea, and I really don't know about her. I was kind of trying to avoid her not going to lie. But I still talked to her some. I tried to get her to get Scott to talk to her friend again for some reason. I think she eventually went over to Sig Tau. There was this other girl I was talking to who was dressed as Cleopatra and I kind of wish I'd have gotten her number or something. If I had it, I wouldn't have done anything, but she was nice. And then that one girl I talked to on homecoming night was there, Jalyn. So I talked to her, she was dressed as a nurse. The party shut down at 1 am, but the Jalyn girl was texting me afterwards and said she was at Logan's house, and I was like, oh, I know him, I can go there.

me and my costume, as photographed by Ryker (notice the lack of braces)

So after the party, I started walking to Cape Trails from 333, which is a little crazy, it's apparently a 34 minute walk. When I was leaving, Whitlow was on the front porch with this Delta Chi who was dressed as someone from Devil May Cry I think. But I started talking about Silent Hill and asking if it was similar to that for some reason. Anyways, I left and I called her and told her to put Logan on the phone because it'd be weird if I just showed up. I made it almost to Rhodes before Scott pulled up to me, I don't know where he came from, but he was there. So he drove me to Cape Trails. But then she texted me they were now back at Towers. So I apologized to Scott, but he was fine with it, and he took me to Towers. We pulled up right in front of Zach and all the girls he was with. Jalyn was one of them, and I thought we were all going to hang out and eat Taco Bell, because she'd texted me that they had Taco Bell, but Zach and them went one way because they live in a separate tower than her. So I was left with her and we went back to her dorm. She did have a quesadilla, so she gave me half of that and we watched some Grey's Anatomy. We really just talked. I actually went over my check-offs several times on her, so that was good practice I guess. And I also did end up spending the night with her, which was really just about an hour of sleep. So that was weird, but I'm glad we didn't go further than me just sleeping in her room. But it was interesting learning about her.

So that was the day. It was pretty good, the party was fun, I probably shouldn't have gone to it with my check-offs being the next day, but whatever. Today was a 6/10.

10/29/25

Today I had my assessment class, and I don't think I did anything until this class. I think I slept until this class. So I probably got up and left around noon.

I got to my class at 1 pm and this was the assessment clinical, so the army lady is the teacher. There was also a new teacher named Mrs. Rigdon, who was older, like in her 70s. She said "Like James?" when I told her my name was Bronson. Not sure who James Bronson is, but she was nice, she taught the first bit. We were going over musculoskeletal assessment. We had to be paired up with someone we aren't usually with to practice, so Noelle and I paired up. This assessment was pretty easy, it's just testing movement of body parts. Then we watched army lady do an assessment on CJ. Then after class CJ asked if I could be his patient for his mini ROS video, so I said sure and he did that. It took him two takes while somehow mine took over forty, but he did forget to ask my pain level. And I forgot to tell him. Sorry. But he did a lot of stuff I didn't do, like check the popliteal pulse. But he didn't check the brachial pulse. So ours were probably about the same. Then I left and walked through the rain to my car, because it was still raining.

After class I got a free cheeseburger from McDonald's and went to Nana's. I just played Fortnite here for a bit and then went home, because apparently my mom was making hashbrown casserole and she had rejected going to Top of the Marq so that she could practice my skills with me.

So I got home and we ate. She made this stir-fry that she thought was really spicy, I didn't think it was too bad, and then the hashbrown casserole. So that was a good meal. My mom got to see my teeth for the first time, and then we went to practicing.

It is actually so draining practicing with her. It's thorough and I usually memorize it pretty good, but it's a lot. I did the tracheostomy skills first, and she got out that one giraffe stuffed animal Janell used to have, and she made that my patient, with a homemade trach. So that was something. Then we did Foley catheter and that was also something. We didn't even get to wound dressing and we'd been doing this for three hours. I also missed a TKE social with Gamma Phi tonight, but this really was more important.

After practicing, she went to bed, and I didn't really practice anymore. I watched the new Slushy Noobz video, which was actually awesome. The mall video. Then I watched the new Claire Drake video, then I watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and then I took a shower and watched some Always Sunny, the Psycho Pete and Charlie Work episodes. By this time it was past 4 am so I went to sleep.

Today, not much happened. 3/10.

10/28/25

Today I got my braces off, so I was up at 9 am to be at my appointment at 10. I almost slept through it because I fell back asleep, but my dad made sure I was up. My dad never liked my braces, he probably thought they were feminine or something, so he was excited I was getting them off. So I got up, brushed my teeth, and drove there.

I got there a little before 10 and went in, and I was checked in pretty fast. Instead of going to a normal seat out in the middle of the room, I went back to a little private room, and that's where everything went down. They went right in and popped off all of my brackets immediately, I didn't realize they could come off that easily. So that wasn't too bad. But then the lady started scraping the glue off of my teeth, and it was making this awful noise, it felt like my teeth were being destroyed. And it also kind of hurt, some of my teeth near the back were really sensitive to that. Then I thought we were kinda done, because the lady started explaining what to do with my retainer. But then Kate Barnett barges into the room, and she actually starts going crazy on my teeth, and that hurt. She had this saw-razor thing that was grinding my teeth down, and there was this smell that smelled kind of like burning. So that was awful and painful and I was praying for it to be over. And it eventually was, and that was that. Then, she told me I have a cavity on one of my back teeth, and it had to have been under the bracket or something, because I looked at it, and it was kind of big. Like I could fully see it. So I don't know how they could have missed that all of my appointments unless it was under it. So that actually sucks because the last time I had a cavity, it was so painful getting filled. I'm gonna have to ask for extra anesthetic. Anyways, then I had to go get some x-rays and then I left, without even saying bye to Kate.

I went to McDonald's on the way to Nana's and got a small fry. My retainer fits really tight up in there and there's a cracking sort of noise when I take it out, but whatever. So I ate that and went to Nana's. I just played some Fortnite there until class at 1 pm.

Class was boring, it was pathophysiology. We went over lungs and respirations and stuff, then took the quiz. We got put into new quiz groups today, but I didn't really participate much because some other people were fine doing everything.

After class I went to Teen Challenge to see if there were any Halloween costume ideas I could get, but I didn't find anything. Then I went to the gym and worked out for an hour or so. I just did some of the machines, did some arms, chest, legs, little of everything. Not really any cardio though, I was going to do the stairs but didn't.

After that I went and filled up with gas, cleaned the trash out of my car, and drove to work. I'd already changed into my work clothes in the gym, so that was done. I pulled out in front of a car while turning into the hospital so they honked at me, and then this other completely unrelated car honked, too. Like boy, shut up, you are not in on this.

Work was alright, not too busy, but just busy enough. Rylee and Tyler were there for the first hour or so. Also, I went in at 6:00 instead of 6:30 pm today, because he changed my schedule. But work was good. There was an MRI, an ultrasound, lots of ER to different areas of the hospital. I went to neuro, oncology, surgical, pavilion, CPC, all over. There was also a lot of food in the break room that people brought for Halloween. I had two of those frosted sugar cookies, an apple crisp thing, and a chocolate cupcake. I ended up staying late because I got an ER request like, 10 minutes before I was supposed to leave. That one was to med tele and I had to walk the lady's daughter back down to the ER after because she was lost. I think I finished that at 10:45, and there was another request after that, but I ended my shift because I was supposed to be done. I also had to fill out my schedule for the next scheduling period because that was due November 1st and I wouldn't be here again before that. So that schedule was in the house supervisor office and I wrote my same schedule up until after finals week, and I took that week off because my parent's are off that week and we may do a vacation or something. I also asked for Christmas off, and then I upped my hours to 25 hours a week for a couple of weeks after that. And I left after that.

I drove home, and it was still rainy, it's been raining for the past three days or so. So I had to drive kind of slow. My dad was up when I got home, so I talked to him for a bit. He was happy I got my braces off, and then he was showing me these pictures of this guy in a wheelchair and these genealogy family tree pictures. Then he went to bed and I went downstairs. I watched the Slushy Noobz third Silent Hill video and made some tortellini. Then I went to bed at around 1:30 am.

So my braces came off today, that's the main event. It was painful but I'm glad they're off. Today was a 5/10 I guess.

10/27/25

Today I had my two exams, so I woke up at around 6:20 am, and my mom came up shortly after and gave me a coffee. I tried studying some at home, but I didn't get too much done. I really just needed to study the stuff for fundamentals because I went over assessment so much yesterday, I was pretty confident for that. So I studied at home until 7:40 or so and then I left and went to the library.

I only had an hour or so at the library before my class. Also, the sidewalk to the library was closed for some reason, so I took a little detour through the backyard behind that one Ignite house and I had to do a little climbing and parkour. And I went in the back entrance of the library. So I got a little more studying done up on the third floor in my little chair there.

Fundamentals was my first exam, so I went there and got that done. We could use our own computers, which was nice, and we could leave once we were done, which was also nice. So I did all of that, I felt like I knew some of it, I wasn't too confident, but I ended up with a 100/125, so an 80%. And I'm okay with that, that's passing. And it was even a little above the average for the exam.

After that exam, I left and tried getting some free McDonald's fries, but they apparently don't serve fries before 10:30, and I already pressed to use that coupon, so I couldn't do another one for 15 minutes. So I left without getting anything from there. Then I went to Nana's and planned to study some but didn't do too much. They are finished now over there, but there's still sawdust everywhere and I don't think we're putting furniture back yet, because my parents still want to paint over there. But anyways, I played some Fortnite, kind of as a break, and then studied some.

I went back to Crisp at 1 pm and took the assessment exam. Mrs. Burk was the teacher, and she had us use the school laptops, and those are annoying. They take forever to log in. She mentioned LanSchool and I hadn't heard of that in forever. I guess those computers have that on them. But I did this exam and I started out a little unsure. But then I saw some familiar questions, and I ended up getting an 82% on this one. I should have studied the cardiac slides more. I forgot the pulmonary and semilunar stuff. But that's still passing, so I'm fine.

Once I got out of there, I drove to the other side of town, not really for any reason. I was gonna go to Target. I got behind this crazy New York driver on my way there. So I went to Target and I ended up buying the Lego Ford Anglia set from Harry Potter. I don't know why, but I saw it on sale on Amazon the other day and it caught my attention. It was only a dollar or so off, but that only lasted a day and I didn't get it. It was only ten dollars at Target though, so I got it. I deserve it for passing my exams. Then I went to Sam's Club because I was a bit hungry and I got a pizza combo and ate it there. I walked around Sam's a bit too.

Then I went home and my dad was out by the trailer under the porch thing at the Morton building. And then like, a minute after I got home, my grandpa pulled up because I guess he was borrowing the trailer. So I went over and said hi to him and told him about my exams. Then I went in and started building my new set. I was also watching Mandy's vlog from yesterday. My dad left and my sister got home. Then my mom also got home a little later and she brought Olive Garden. She got lasagna, breadsticks, and salad. So that was pretty good, I wasn't too hungry from the pizza, but I still ate some breadsticks and lasagna.

Then Janell and I went downstairs so I could practice this mini ROS assessment video I had to make. So we practiced that for a bit and then Janell left to go make dog toys or something for community service hours. I fell asleep and was asleep for basically the whole time she was gone. Once she got back at 7 pm or so, we started recording the video for the assessment. It took me over 40 takes and an hour and a half to get the video right. I had the instructions on the TV behind the camera, but it was still hard to remember everything. I don't know how I'm gonna do the actual full head-to-toe assessment. But we got that done and then watched It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown because I always want to watch that around Halloween, but I always forget. I thought the Great Pumpkin would actually show up at the end, but I guess I remembered that wrong. Then we tried watching a movie, but couldn't find a good one. We started The Black Phone, The Thing, and Terrifier, but we just couldn't get into it. Then I took some Nyquil and fell asleep.

So that was my day. It was pretty good, still only a 5/10 though.

10/26/25

Today was another day where I never left the house. It was Sunday so I was just going to keep studying for my two exams tomorrow. I got up around 11 AM, my mom made some pizzas, my sister got home, we ate, and I studied. I tried studying on my own, but then I studied with my mom, and I feel like I got it a lot more, even if she's sometimes annoying to study with. It wasn't that bad this time. I really studied forever today. From probably 1-6 PM I was hardcore studying, going through all of my assessment slides. I also texted Grant that I couldn't go to chapter today, mainly because I was studying, but I told him it was because I wasn't feeling good, which was also true. I've had a sore throat since Monday, and my sore throat is kind of gone now, but I still have this awful cough. I took some codeine and Dayquil today, but it hasn't gotten better. And I might be fined $20 for missing chapter because the new guys were being inducted or initiated or something. They better not fine me.

For dinner, we were all here, and we had some of the leftover turkey and gravy from yesterday, but also had mashed potatoes, grapes, and cucumbers. Pretty good dinner. After dinner I did some homework and tried studying some more, but I was a little burnt out. Also, it was a really rainy day today, like all day rain, so I really couldn't go outside at all. Janell was also doing homework pretty late into the night with my mom, so I tried studying my fundamental stuff, but didn't get too into it. It was also a good day for Slushy Noobz, because they uploaded on the main channel, there was a podcast episode today, and Mandy uploaded a video. I'm going to try and wait for after my exams tomorrow to watch them.

But that was really my whole day, inside basically all day. I did see Chowder quite a bit, he was on the back porch most of the day because of the rain. But it was an alright day for being trapped inside. I like when the family's all here. 4/10.

10/25/25

Today I never left the house. I woke up around 10 or 11, so I really only got four or so hours of sleep. My mom was instantly telling me to get studying, because I have two exams on Monday. She had made me an omelet and coffee, so that was nice. So I ate those and I did get studying. At least I tried to. I read the first couple pages of the nutrition chapter, and I just couldn't. I read through the PowerPoint, though. And that was the basis of the day. I'd read some, look through the PowerPoint, take a break and go outside, and then get back to it. I did get quite a bit of homework done, just not much studying.

I don't think I ate lunch, but for supper, my mom made turkey, gravy, and fried potatoes and sweet potatoes. That was a pretty good meal. I went outside some more, played with Chowder and Opal, I played piano quite a bit. That's really all that happened today.

Then that night I watched Halloween for the first time. It wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. I thought there'd be a bigger twist at the end than just, he can't be killed for some reason. I thought the doctor guy was actually gonna be evil. But yeah, I watched that and went to bed.

Today was super boring and I procrastinated. 3/10.

10/24/25

Today was Friday, so I had my fundamentals clinical, and it was actually early today. Usually she gives us an hour off in the morning, so we don't have to be there until 8 AM, but today we had to be there at 7 AM. But I got up on time, maybe even a little early, at around 5:45 AM. My mom was also there to get me up because she was leaving for work. But I got ready and left. I kind of like being up this early. Not all the time, but every once in a while. There was a great sunrise this morning. It was also chilly, it was the first time I've seen it be in the 30s since early this year.

I got to class and turned in my med pass cards. I ended up turning in the orange cards because I did not transfer over all the stuff onto the templated ones my mom printed out. Then we took a quiz over med pass, and I got a 2/10. Holy mackerel that was rough. I really just got unlucky, I knew the two I got right and I guessed on the others. Chances are I would have gotten some of them right, but no. Just unlucky. The questions were things like, "How long do you leave a syringe in after an intramuscular injection." I didn't know if that one was 5 or 10 seconds. Anyways, class went on, I had the stupid chair that somehow always comes back to my spot no matter if I move it. It's the chair that doesn't stay up, it will slowly lower down and I'll be on the floor while everyone else is raised up to the table. It sucks, but I just have to deal with it. For the rest of the first half of this class, we went over the med cards, then had scenarios where we got to practice giving different injections on this fake skin. I was in a group with Adriana and Breanna, but it was kind of like a big group, because the class was split in half. So we did some injections, some insulin stuff, I think Mrs. Stinnett accidentally pricked herself with an insulin needle so she was freaking out. We also practice pumping the stuff out of a dummy with an NG tube, that was gross. They had this weird vomity mixture and some people went up and did that, I didn't Before we went for our lunch break, we all got in a circle and were given an ampule to crack open. We went one by one and some people were really struggling. I was the last to go, and mine went easily. Poor Breanna somehow cut herself. Then we went to lunch.

I got Janell to come get me lunch. We caught up some and were talking about Halloween costumes quite a bit. She thinks I should be Frank Gallagher. I don't know what I'm gonna be. Probably nothing, because check-offs are the day before Halloween and I'll be too stressed about that. I had Indian food and Janell had pizza, what's new. Towers Landing was actually packed because it was some kind of orientation day or high school day at SEMO, so there were high schoolers everywhere. I saw Panashe in line and he said hi to me. I also saw Rakin while I was sitting with Janell. He was apparently a leader for one of these tour groups, but he lost his group. But we talked for a bit. And that was lunch.

I went back to class at 1 PM and we were just working on previous skills now to practice for check-offs next week. So Adriana and I went through three of the four we need to know. We didn't have time for foley catheters because we got out early at 3 PM and we both kind of wanted to leave. But we got some good practice in. We also talked a lot, which was nice, because honestly, I really haven't just talked to someone besides Janell or someone, in a while. We talked about homecoming, how I'm in a frat, how my grandma's house's floors are getting done, I learned that her dad also does lumber, that she drank a Coronarita (I'd never heard of that) after the tailgate last Saturday, all sorts of stuff. So that was nice. We took a picture after class because Kaylen wanted to for some reason, but that was also kind of nice.

After class, there was the social with Tri Delta at 6 PM, so I didn't want to go home and have to come back, so I went to Nana's for a couple of hours. I was hoping they'd be done, but they still weren't over there. It's been like a month now. The workers weren't there when I got there, but the floors looked wet from the varnish. But I tested them out, and they were just a little bit tacky. Barely noticeable. So I took off my shoes and tiptoed to the stairs. I went upstairs and played some Fortnite and relaxed. There was also dust everywhere in the house. I guess from them sanding the floors down, but it was even all upstairs. My TV stand was covered, my fridge, my desk. How did that much dust get up here? But whatever.

I left to go to 333 a little after 6 PM, I didn't want to get there too early. There were some people there, including Janell. I didn't think there'd be too many people there because I think Phi Delta or someone is having their philanthropy event at this same time, but there were some people. It was kind of awkward at first, I just showed up and didn't know what to do. But Mason told me to carve a pumpkin, so I got one and got busy. I didn't know what I was going for, it ended up being a pretty standard looking jack-o-lantern. Hannah kept saying mine was the worst. I also accidentally threw away the top of it, so it didn't have a top. But I liked mine. I didn't really get a picture of it. Then we just sat around the campfire and talked some. I made a smore, so that was good. Then Keely sat next to me, and after a while, Owen and whoever started saying "Maybe Bronson is the problem," and then he was mouthing, "f*ck you." And apparently he was doing all this because he thought that I was the one who sat down next to Keely because I was still into her. First off, why does he care, second off, I sat here first, third off, I'm not still into her, I'm not talking or looking at her, she just sat next to me. He doesn't even like her, he calls her fat, so why is he defending her. So that was weird. Keely did this thing where she passed the camera around and everyone was supposed to take a picture of themself, and I think mine turned out pretty bad. I didn't stay too long after that, because they started breaking out the wine and I had to get home and do my homework that was due tonight. I gave Kenedy my seat when I was leaving.

So that really wasn't that great there, could've been better. I got home and started on my homework. I got one of the assignments done at the campfire, but the other was a quiz for assessment lecture, which I needed to do, because I have a 74% in that class for forgetting to do the last quiz. So I did it and my mom helped me, but there was 15 minute time limit, and the questions were taking us longer than 15 minutes. So I didn't get as much time as I needed, but at least it was done. Then I went downstairs and made a box of pasta and ate it all, basically in one sitting. Then I'm pretty sure I had a pretty severe food coma. I've never had that before, but it happens when you eat a lot at once, especially carbs, and you get really tired because your body has to break it all down. I don't even really remember falling asleep or anything, I just woke up and a couple hours had passed. It was like, 2 AM now. So that was weird. Then I worked on some of the EAQ questions due Sunday, and then at around 3 AM, I wanted to watch a horror movie since it's almost Halloween, so I watched The Shining, which I'd never seen, and I have to be honest, it was a lot different than I was expecting. It was a lot more psychological than I'd thought. Creepiest scene was the decomposing bath lady. But it was an alright movie, great cinematography and acting.

I think it was almost 6 AM before I fell back asleep. So that was my day. It did feel like a pretty full day, so I'll give it a 5/10.
