12/1/22

Today I woke up late again because I keep unconsciously turning off my alarm clock. I rode with Janell to school since my car was broken.

In Christian Response, we were finishing the stupid debate about cohabitation. I didn't do anything in the debate and didn't even get to present my point because he only had us say three points for each side. Also, I fell asleep a couple of times and Mr. Simpson got a bit annoyed. Anyways, at the end, Mr. Simpson said that our side had the better points and that we would be getting 5 extra credit points. Emma Rivers, who was on our side, said that he was being biased because he just picked the one that he agreed with. Mr. Simpson tried to argue back that it wasn't just his opinion and Emma was like "Whatever you say," and for some reason he got super mad at that, sent her out to the hall, threw his laptop down on the table next to me, and went out to the hallway to yell at her. So that was odd. I saw Emma's dad pick her up after this.

We had Mrs. Lynn as a sub in Chemistry so we didn't really do anything. We were supposed to watch a video and do notes, but I didn't really.

In Law in Action we worked on the cross-examination questions again. Also people figured out that I hit a deer yesterday.

Lunch was Popeyes, which was great. I got the last blackened ranch, too, so lucky me.

In Health, we just listened to Mrs. Birk ramble about personal hygiene or something. I was listening to music the whole time.

Band and Choir were the same as always.

LA was actually kind of fun today. We played Family Feud as a vocab game. Our team were the W's as in Windeknecht. 

11/30/22

Today was kind of a roller coaster of a day. I think I've already gotten into the habit of turning off my alarm clock while I'm sleeping because I faintly remember turning it off and then sleeping until like, 7 o'clock. I had a donut and left for school.

Mr. Wieser's small group had chapel this morning and it was about Thanksgiving. I thought it was kind of funny but Janell said she thought it was stupid because Wieser himself was in it.

In Christian Response we started debating about cohabitation. I didn't really do anything because we didn't get to my point.

We had the test today in Chemistry and I guessed on basically every question. I still think I did alright on it. Hoping for at least a 60.

We worked on the mock trial in Law in Action. I have to make the cross-examination questions for Layne Juarez, who's some kind of doctor.

Lunch was the best - toasted ravioli and breadstick. 10/10 lunch.

In Health we finished the thing we were working on yesterday. We finished early so I wrote some blog posts and listened to Laura by Billy Joel.

Band and Choir were boring. I fell asleep a couple times in Band.

In LA we did some worksheets or something and that was about it.

After school I drove to Cape and went to Sam's to eat. I had lemonade mixed with fruit punch mixed with Mountain Dew and a meat pizza slice. Delicious. Then I walked around for a bit even though I don't have a membership. There weren't any samples today for some reason.

Next I decided to go to Walmart but wasn't there for very long. I went to Barnes and Noble next because when I went there a few days ago I saw they had Lego Minifigures. The thing is, you know I'm not going to pay 5 bucks for some plastic. So I may have gotten it for free. I may have also been caught on camera. I carried the bag around and thought to go to the bathroom to put it in my hoodie. The thing was, there was a camera right outside the bathroom and I put the thing in my hoodie as I walked into the bathroom. I saw the camera as I was leaving, and kind of freaked out, but instead of putting the thing back, I left. I went through JC Penny to get to my car because I didn't want to leave through Barnes and Noble. So that's my confession. I got a little popcorn man from the pack, so I'd say it's worth it.

Then I went to go fill up with gas at Kidd's but all the gas pumps had cars at them. Most of the cars were empty because the stupid drivers of the cars were inside the gas station. One of those people was Mia Chapman. I don't know why she was there. So I didn't get gas.

I drove to Red Lobster and changed into my work outfit. I really didn't want to work today, but who does. I put on my white hoodie before going into work. When I took my hoodie off when I got inside, there was tons of white fuzz on my outfit. So I had to pull all of that off. Also, Karemenah was there when I first got there and she said I was her favorite SA which is surprising because she usually acts like she doesn't like me. Also again, Red Lobster got new Christmas menus that look pretty sweet. There’s also Cheddar Bay Shrimp which I guess is new. Sounds good.

Work actually went great today. It was super slow at first and we were cut down to like, 4 servers pretty soon. At 6 o'clock an 11 top walked in and Kayla actually wanted to take them, so she got that whole party. Kayla also told me I was her favorite SA today. I appreciated that more than Karemenah's comment because Kayla's a better person than her. Then probably 10 minutes later a 15 top walked in. So Alexis and Carletha took them and Hope took a bunch of the small parties that also came in. At the end of the day, Rich called everyone into the kitchen and said how good of a job everyone did and he really bragged on me. I really appreciated that. It's weird how bipolar Rich is. Anyways I left work in a good mood. I also got a free hat and bracelet from the lost and found.

I filled up with gas at Rhodes on the way home because Kidd's said I had to go inside to pay. Then, when I was almost home, I hit a deer. I was heading down Fornkohl Hill and a deer ran across the road midway down the hill. It would've been impossible to stop, but I did slam on the breaks. I hit the deer pretty hard and it knocked it over completely. The deer limped around before sitting in the ditch. I FaceTimed Janell and got out to look out the damage. My grill had come off completely, my hood was a bit dented in the front, and my left headlight had shattered. I got back in my car and kept driving. When I started driving the deer in the ditch ran off into the field like nothing had even happened. I have no idea how none of its legs broke. My mom and dad looked at my car. I think my dad was mad at me at first, but then we went back to where I hit the deer and he saw I couldn't have stopped and realized it wasn't my fault. We picked up the pieces that had fallen off my car and went back home. So that was that. Hopefully insurance covers this stuff and I can fix my poor car up.

I helped Janell with some of her standard deviation homework because she's stupid. Then I played some Fortnite until like, 2:30 in the morning.

Today was all over the place from me escaping Barnes and Noble, to work actually being good, and hitting a deer and destroying my car.

11/29/22

This morning Janell stayed at home an extra hour for some reason. At school is was Crusader Time so homeroom was extra long and I worked on a lot of this blog work since I'm like, 2 weeks behind. Doing this blogging is kind of getting old, but I think it's good for me because I literally won't remember what I did a couple days after I do it. At least this way I'll have a good little record of part of my life.

Anyways, I don't really remember what we did in Christian Response. Actually, I do remember. We worked on these debates about cohabitation. I wrote a point about how if you live together without being married you'll lack counseling you would get if you were married and then you'll fight more. I just copied all of that from a website.

In Chemistry we went over the homework and didn't really review that much considering there's a test tomorrow.

In Law in Action we went to Mr. Wieser's room to work on our mock trial, which I'm really getting tired of working on. I'm still kind of thinking about a career in law, but these direct and cross-examination questions are hard to think of. I'm supposed to be thinking of direct examination questions for Leslie Chen, which is who I am in the mock trial.

Lunch was Papa John's pizza which was the greasiest pizza I'd ever seen. I also had some Doritos. Not a very healthy lunch.

In Health we're doing this thing in the gym where we do these different activities like balancing, hearing, posture, and eyesight. My partners were Jesse and Gabe. It was kind of fun.

Band and Choir are getting more and more boring. I've become the thing I swore to destroy by always getting on my phone in those classes. I used to get annoyed that the freshmen would be on their phones all hour, but I can't stand those classes anymore.

In LA we did these pronoun worksheets. LA4 is actually so easy but Mrs. Chambless has to make it the most boring and least tolerable class. Still a better option than College Writing.

After school I had bowling and I really didn't want to go to it. Janell said I should though, so I did, which is why I should never listen to Janell, because I should not have gone.

I went to Teen Challenge beforehand but didn't find anything. It was 3:30 when I got to bowling. It was so boring. I was bowling pretty terribly and practice wasn't over until 5:30. I should've just gone home.

At home I ate some slider things my mom had made that were delicious. I also had some Cheetos and one of them tasted really weird. After that I decided to watch the entire 6 hour series of Obi-Wan Kenobi. It was really good but it ended up being like, 2 o'clock before I went to bed.

Today was alright. School and bowling were boring, though. Kenobi was good though, so today's at least a 5/10.

11/28/22

Today was my first day back to school after a 10 day break, so obviously I wasn't really ready to go back, but I got up surprisingly well this morning. I was in the kitchen by 7:00 and my mom had made waffles, so that was a good breakfast.

Christian Response was awful as per usual. We were supposed to get into groups but I didn't really want to so I sat there and worked on my own for like, 5 minutes, until Mr. Simpson was like, "Bronson, where's your partner?" And I was like, "I don't know. I guess I don't have one." And then he forced me to work with Blake and Money Matt, but I didn't really work with them, I just sat with them.

Chemistry was also terrible. I had no idea what was going on and still have no idea. Something about functional groups. I also learned a huge lab assignment was due tomorrow along with a 100 question homework form.

11/27/22

Today I woke up to my new alarm clock at 9:10 and my dad came into my room like, 1 minute later to try and wake me up. My mom and dad were going to church this morning, but Janell and I decided not to because we basically already go to church every day at Saxony. My dad told me a list of things to do so I went out to do them.

I went out and fed the cats but there wasn't much food out there so they didn't get too much. Then I went and let out the chickens. I didn't really think they would want to be out because it was sprinkling a bit, but they scrambled outside and were thriving in the rain. How odd. Then I added some wood to the wood stove even though the wood was wet. So those were my little chores.

Janell was still in bed this whole time so I kept trying to wake her up and she was getting pretty annoyed. My parents got back from church after 11:00. I don't remember what I ate for lunch, so it probably wasn't anything too special. We didn't really do anything else until around 2:00, which was when we left to go to town.

The first place we went in town was to Kohl's, but then Janell said she didn't want to go there, so we didn't. In the Kohl's parking lot we saw David and Pierce on their way to bring a washer and dryer back to Lowes. We talked to them for a couple minutes. Janell was being really annoying at this point because for some reason she kept talking about how I'd never get into a relationship. She always brings this stuff up.

Janell wanted to go to Barnes and Noble to get some stupid One Direction CDs so that's where we went next. I looked at some cool history books but decided I didn't want anything. After Barnes and Noble we went to Goodwill. Tanner Morehead was working in there, so that was a jump-scare. We didn't find anything cool in there.

Instead of going to any other stores, we decided to have a nice dinner. We went to Olive Garden and it was delicious. I got my favorite soup, Zuppa Tuscana, and Ravioli Carbonara, which I hadn't had before. Janell got some chicken tortellini stuff and my mom just had soup and salad. We got a 5 Cheese Ziti al Forno to-go for dad. So that was a great supper.

After that we were going to meet up with my dad, Molly, Daniel, Matthew, and Emma Molly at the Christmas parade. We found a spot outside of the Courtyard by Marriott where we were going to meet them. My mom went to get a coffee inside the hotel and apparently Mr. Duncan, my 5th grade teacher, works in there. Molly and the rest of them got there so they sat with us. Matthew was being an annoying combination of shy and annoying. Janell and I were trying to make Emma smile but he kept blocking her face. Also, Mariel's boyfriend's family was next to us apparently, and Mariel and her boyfriend showed up so they had to sit with us.

The actual parade was really fun. We were sort of near the end so not much candy was left, but we got a little bit. I stole some of Matthew's. Matthew called every car an ambulance and every Grinch a scarecrow. And there were a lot of Grinches because apparently that was the theme. There were firetrucks, police cars, random companies and clubs, businesses, tractors, and floats. I liked the Dalmatians the fire people had.

After the parade we went home and I ate some leftover breadsticks. I spent a lot of the night looking for things I want for Christmas on Amazon. It was so hard because I have no idea what I want. I found a few things though, so hopefully my mom will order them tomorrow on Cyber Monday.

I got ready for bed and ended up falling asleep with my lamp and everything still on. Today was a good day. 8/10.

11/26/22

Today I had work in the morning, so I had to get up early. My grandparents were here because my grandpa needed his gauze changed because he had surgery or something on his hand. I made a breakfast sausage and cheese sandwich in the air fryer which tasted alright. My mom told me to pick up food after I get off and she gave me 60 bucks to get some Red Lobster.

I got to work and went in at 10:45. Work went pretty smoothly today. Seth was the manager, and I was also working with Jashauna, who isn't my favorite, but isn't my least favorite. Work also felt like it went by fast which is good. I was very happy that they were playing Christmas music in Red Lobster because I’d told myself quit if they didn’t. Along with all the Christmas music, they also played some other songs I like that I hadn’t heard before like Hearts, If, and We’re All Alone.

At 3:45 I put in my to-go order because Seth said it wouldn't take that long. I was there until 4:20 because it did end up taking a little while. To be fair, it was a huge order. I ordered two entrees being Grilled Trout and an Admiral's Feast, one Baja Shrimp Bowl for Janell, two appetizers being Lobster Pizza and Calamari, and four sides being mashed potatoes, broccoli, Caesar salad, and French fries. I had to leave with a huge bag of food and at this point all the night SA's were there and they were judging me.

I drove home and rang the doorbell about a hundred times before Janell let me in. My parents weren't even home yet because they were at Nana's house. Janell and I went ahead and started eating. The food had gotten a bit cold, but was still delicious. My parents got home and we ate some more with them. My sister opened a bottle of wine for some reason and drank some. It smelled like communion wine.

11/22/22

Today I also didn't go to school. I honestly probably could have gone today, but I probably wouldn't have even done anything because Thanksgiving break starts on Wednesday so today was technically Friday.

I honestly don't remember what I did today. I remember someone waking me up and then falling back asleep. I know I played my new game quite a bit today.

Last week they cancelled the bowling pictures but I'm pretty sure they took them this week and of course I was gone, so screw the bowling team.

11/21/22

Today I was still feeling pretty sick, so I stayed home again. I had come up with the conclusion that I had bronchitis because I had all of the symptoms. I still don't actually know if bronchitis is a symptom or a disease. My mom said we should go to Convenient Care, so I got ready and we left, but then she decided not to go because I said I think I'm getting better and she didn't want to expose me to the flu or whatever else is going around. So instead of going there, we went to my grandparents house because my grandpa had a skin graft thing on his hand and my mom keeps having to wrap more gauze around it. I stayed in the car because Mammy though that I was contagious or something.

When we got back home my mom gave me steroids that were left over from Janell and had me do a breathing treatment. Then I went to sleep.

I woke up at some point and watched The Phantom Menace. Also, I still had a haircut scheduled for 3:45 and I was feeling a bit better, so I went to it. I went to Walmart beforehand because I kind of wanted the new Pokémon game. Everyone at the little technology area was busy so I couldn't ask them to unlock the case for me.

I went to Amy's to get my haircut and I had to pretend like I went to school and wasn't sick. We talked about the usual things like what I want to do after high school. Once my haircut was done I went back to Walmart and got a guy to get the game for me.

On the way home I got an Oreo McFlurry from McDonald's and almost got into a car crash at a 4-way stop. Also, stations finally started playing Christmas music, so I was jamming out to that.

At home, I think my mom had made pork chop things so I ate two of those. I think that was about it for today.

It was actually a pretty good day and I'd give it a solid 7/10. 

11/20/22

Today was a pretty good day but I don't really remember what I did. I had work at 5:00, but before work I went to Walmart. I decided to steal a pack of Pokémon cards because I'm not going to pay 5 bucks for thin cardboard. Work was pretty good. I was with Tristian and it was a really short shift. I wasn't even supposed to work today, but this was the shift that Jashauna traded me for my Wednesday. It was super slow and me and Tristian just hung out up front most of the time. After work I went home and opened the pack. I let Opal lick it beforehand to give it some luck, and I ended up getting a card worth over 45 bucks. So that was pretty cool. RIP the kid who would've picked that pack if I didn't.

Today was alright. Work was good, too. 7/10.

11/19/22

 This was the worst day of work ever. I woke up at 12:06. I was supposed to be at work at 12:00. For some reason I didn't call in and tell someone I was going to be late, I just drove as fast as I could. As soon as I got there, we were on a wait. Rich was also there and he was in the worst mood ever. He told me to try and get off the wait so I'd seat people. Then he'd say put them on a huge wait because the kitchen was backed up. There was one couple that had been waiting for around an hour, so I sat them. Rich got very mad at that because he said to only seat people when he said so. He literally lashed out at me like a little bitch and then five minutes later sat the entire lobby, which was easily 12+ parties. I was literally so mad at him I wanted to quit. Also Tristian was there but he got off the hook because I don't even know what he was doing. That was all I remember of today. I was also there all day because I was a split.

Today was an easy 1/10.

11/18/22

Today there was no school because Saxony's soccer team went to state. I don't know why that means no school, but it was fine with me. Unfortunately I did still have work.

11/15/22

Today I went to school. I mainly went because they had said we were taking bowling pictures at practice today.

I don't remember anything that I did in school because I'm writing this 2 weeks after the fact. At bowling practice we were missing like, 5 people, so we didn't take the pictures.

At home I took the CPR test and got a 92 percent. My mom tried helping me but got some wrong, and Janell gave me a wrong answer on purpose because she was jealous.

Today was a 4/10 because I don't remember it and it probably wasn't too great.
